I work regularly with The Store to help maximise their space and available equipment to improve the customer experience.

We review product placement and how newness is showcased in a way that is true to the mission of The Store, to Reduce, Reuse and Refill.

Entry Zone of The Store

I worked with the owner to refresh the entry point of The Store, which also acts as a shoppable window display. She felt stuck with an old piece of equipment that wasn’t working for her and needed some inspiration.

There were some fixed variables such as featuring the fresh sourdough and showcasing newness.

We discussed the option of investing in some new flexible shelving units and ‘always on’ large printed marketing to help educate the customer on The Store’s mission and inform on their great products.

Summer focus for seasonal products, placed at ‘eye level’

Bright coloured toiletries to support the summer vibe

Using this high footfall space for best sellers & newness
Including additional products to complete a ‘Breakfast’ mission to encourage pick up purchases and increase customer spend

Creating perfect partners:
Coffee + Reusable Cup
Granola + Oat Milk

Including marketing messages to communicate to the customer about this great local produce. Small format in store and a bespoke large piece to be seen through the window

Front zone tiered equipment was large and didn’t allow for easy access and the lowest shelf was not often shopped
